Our Instructors
Our instructors have taught injectors from all over the country and have personally performed thousands of aesthetic treatments. Our courses are dual-taught by two instructors - an MD and an Nurse Practitioner.
Austin Marie Jacobus RN, MSN, NP-C is the lead clinical provider at Evolve Med Spa. After a transformative aesthetic experience years ago, she knew she wanted to dedicate her career to the field – empowering clients to look and feel their best, to be confident and beautiful in their own skin, and to have that beauty radiate into all facets of their lives. Austin loves aesthetics because it combines her interest in science and medicine with her passion for art and attention to detail. Austin started her medical career as a nurse in labor and delivery at Hoboken University Medical Center, where she worked with Dr. Oz as his RN First Assist in the operating room. After earning her graduate degree in advanced practice nursing from Georgetown University, Austin decided to follow her passion for aesthetics. Before joining Dr. Oz at Evolve Med Spa, Austin worked as a clinical trainer and master injector for one of the fastest-growing medical spa practices in the country, helping thousands of clients achieve their aesthetic goals while continuing to learn and hone her own craft with the latest techniques, tools, and education. She quickly became one of the most sought out injectors in the industry, with a specialization in full facial analysis. Austin is passionate about her work, meticulously evaluating each client’s needs and fostering trusting relationships by taking the time to educate each client on his or her optimal treatment plan. Using her ever-expanding knowledge of best-in-class procedures, she is committed to helping all of Evolve Med Spa’s clients enhance their unique features in a graceful, natural-looking way.
Austin Jacobus
Dr. Osbert (Oz) Fernandez, MD, FACOG, FAAFP is the Medical Director at Evolve Med Spa. He has been awarded NJ Top Doctors for 5 consecutive years. He is an industry leader in aesthetics, anti-aging, menopause management, robotic surgery and women's health.
Dr. Fernandez is dual board certified in Family Practice and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is an Attending Physician with CarePoint Medical Group, Associate Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hoboken University Medical Center and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York Medical College in the Department of Family Medicine. He is certified by the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) for his commitment to menopausal health.
Beyond being awarded NJ Top Doctors five years in a row, Dr. Fernandez has also won various teaching awards, and in 2003 he was awarded a Humanitarian Award for his dedication to women’s health.
Dr Fernandez is fluent in Spanish.
