Glowing Reviews

Improved Skin texture
Natalia
Montclair, NJ

Bought a three pack of microneedling with PRP sessions, and I recently completed them all, I’m very happy with the service, with this procedure it takes about 6 to 8 weeks after each appointment to start seeing results. I already do see a difference in my skin texture, I am in my early 40s, and I wanted more of a natural approach to anti-aging treatments before I try Botox or fillers. I’m happy with the customer service and the procedure, I totally recommend trying Evolve if you haven’t already.?

Best of the best

Evolve Med Spa is the only place I trust with my skin!! I've been to sooo many different spa's over the 15+ years for the treatment of my skin and I can say not only are all the aestheticians and nurse practitioners educated and kind, they really are the best of the best. I am currently in the process of getting my skin wedding prep ready and I cannot wait to see the results for the big day!

Pressure free visit
Alison
Denville, NJ

Evolve is perfect for clients wanting to dip their toe into the med spa world. I was not ready for botox, etc and had felt pressured at previous places. At Evolve they were not pushy but happy to help, listen to my concerns and make recommendations for my skincare journey. Loved my results, and would recommend it for those wanting a more “natural” plan.

Frequently Asked Questions about Microneedling with PRP

    What is platelet-rich plasma?

Plasma is a component of your blood that contains special “factors” or proteins that help your blood to clot. It also contains proteins that support cell growth. Researchers have produced PRP by isolating plasma from blood and concentrating it. When injected into damaged tissues, PRP injection is supposed to stimulate your body to grow new, healthy cells and promote healing.

What is the difference between Microneedling alone and Microneedling with PRP?

Microneedling treatment, by itself, is already an effective treatment as collagen induction therapy. By creating tiny wounds in the skin of the treatment area, your body naturally responds by stimulating elastin and collagen production, which is essential for skin renewal. On the other hand, microneedling with PRP can amplify the results of microneedling alone and speeds up the healing process. This is due to PRP's use of stem cell science to enhance healing through its high concentration of growth factors.

What are the skin conditions that platelet-rich plasma (PRP) can treat?

PRP therapy serves as a non-surgical method of skin rejuvenation that uses your own blood to improve the appearance of facial tissue. PRP has been used in the treatment of several dermatological conditions such as acne, alopecia, and skin ulcers. It can also address other skin conditions such as melasma, hyperpigmentation, and burns, where it stimulates tissue repair and regeneration.

    • Skin may crust and peel for 3-7 days after treatment
    • Some patients may experience pigmentation changes shortly after treatment and will return back to baseline several days to weeks post treatment
    • Some areas may experience bruising
    • Some patients may experience a breakout “purge” within 24-72 hours post treatment, this is normal and will resolve shortly, avoid picking as this may lead to scarring.
    • Use a clean pillowcase after treatment, avoid touching the treated areas for 24 hours post treatment to reduce infection
    • For the next 48 hours avoid intentional and direct sunlight, no exercising or strenuous activity, no swimming, wash face with only lukewarm water, keep skin moisturized
