In recent years, the Brazilian Butt Lift has become one of the most popular aesthetic enhancement procedures on the market. However, many clients simply aren't ready for invasive surgical measures. You can now achieve a fuller, smoother, and lifted buttocks with our non-surgical options, Sculptra® Butt Lift and Radiesse® Butt Lift.
So how is a non-surgical butt lift possible? There are recent innovations in FDA-approved injectables that work to plump your buttocks. FDA-approved brands offered at Evolve Med Spa include Sculptra BBL and Radiesse BBL – both options offer a non-surgical way to enhance the curve and shape of your buttocks without the downtime or risk of complications like a Brazilian Butt Lift surgery.
Our team of Medical Providers can assist you in selecting the best solution to meet your specific booty needs. The chart below compares the key differences between Sculptra and Radiesse, as well as a surgical BBL procedure.
Sculptra Butt Lift | Radiesse Butt Lift | Surgical BBL | |
What is used in the process? | Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA) | Calcium Hydroxyapatite (Dermal Filler) | Fat Grafting or Silicone Butt Implant |
How does it work? | Injected into the buttocks and works over time by stimulating your body’s natural collagen production | Injected into the buttocks to lift and replace missing volume | Through surgery, fat is transferred from one area of the body to the buttocks. Or, a silicone implant is surgically placed in the buttock area. |
Treatment time? | 30 mins | 30 mins | 2-4 Hours |
How long does it take to work? | Works over time; Visible results in 3-6 months as collagen builds | Works almost immediately; More volume appears over 2-3 months through collagen stimulation | ~4 Months for results to unfold |
Recovery time? | Mild soreness, bruising and swelling; no downtime | Bruising is common; no downtime | Significant downtime and recovery required |
How long does it last? | 2+ years | Up to 2 years | Permanent |
Some clients may experience minor swelling and some bruising; more major side effects are extremely rare. The procedure doesn't carry a high risk of scarring.
For Sculptra, noticeable results can be seen 3-6 months after the Sculptra treatment and usually lasts between 2 to 3 years. Sculptra can be injected over a period of time to produce the desired result, and you can also re-inject Sculptra to prolong the effects of your treatment.
For Radiesse, results appear almost immediately given the product is a type of dermal filler. More volume appears over 2-3 months due to collagen stimulation.
It is important to understand that Sculptra is a collagen stimulator, not a dermal filler. This means that the Sculptra itself is not providing the filling. Sculptra causes a reaction in the skin which forms new collagen. Sculptra is also often used as injectable treatments in the face to treat fine lines, nasolabial folds, and facial volume. Depending on the desired level of augmentation, most clients require multiple treatment sessions; each performed approximately six weeks apart.
