• Stop waxing, plucking, or using depilatory creams for at least 4-6 weeks before your appointment. Shaving is usually recommended as it leaves the hair follicle intact.
• Discontinue the use of products that can irritate your skin, such as retinoids, exfoliants, and products with alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) or beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) about 48 hours before treatment.
• Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin in the treatment area to ensure optimal results.
• Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment to ensure the laser targets the hair follicles effectively.

You’re qualified for a laser hair removal treatment if:

You have no existing skin conditions or lesions. During an initial consultation, we’ll ask about your health history and check if you have any skin problems such as keloid or hypertrophic scars, active infections, or other skin lesions that may contradict with the treatment.

You can wait for the results to show. Remember that laser hair removal does not provide instant results. It may take some time and more than one treatment session to see the full results. But the good thing is that after you receive laser hair removal, it may last for several months and up to years. If the hair grows back, it will appear lighter and less noticeable.

• Continue sun precautions for at least 2 weeks, and use a sunscreen with minimum SPF of 30 at all times

• You may continue shaving starting 24 hrs post treatment
